I've got a Dragon's Egg!

I do indeed have a Dragon's Egg but not a real one of course! Haha fooled you ;) The Dragon's Egg I have is one of the famous bath bombs from Lush :D Out of all the amazing  products that Lush retail, this is hands down my favourite one!

Lush's description of this bath bomb
"Like an everlasting gobstopper, this ballistic keeps on revealing layer upon layer of surprises. It gives up its gifts in an unfolding drama, leaving you in a bath of molten gold. Along the way you will experience a firework display of colour, a fiery crackle of popping candy, a swirling landscape of creamy foam and a drift of paper dragon scales. To complete the fantasy we rounded this off with a fragrance of sexy jasmine and uplifting citruses and bergamot. Leaves you ready to come out of your cave and soar!"
Then on the little paper bag that the bath bomb is put inside desribes this particular bath bomb as "an uplifting fizz of grapefruit, lemon, jasmine and dragon's fire."

When you first plop (haha I love that word!) into the bath, it begins fizzy like crazy to create a creamy/white coloured foam. I personally find this foam really moisturising and it stays in the bath for a reasonable amount of time.

The flecks of colour that you see in the bath bomb itself are released into the water during this point. Now call me blonde (even though I am a brunette haha) but I haven't got a clue what these actaully do. None the less they look pretty and I think they are quite moisturising, it's a win-win situation!
How pretty are those colours?!

All of a sudden, the creamy/white foam turns into an orange foam! I only have two negative things to say about this bath bomb and this first is that this orange foam does leave the bath water a not-so-nice colour. i would describe the colour as a dehyrdated person's wee or the colour the water goes when you're washing off instant fake tan. I was hoping it would have been pink but I'm just a pink lady hehe :') Now it's the turn for the popping candy! It actually sounds as if you're bath water is having a party, it's great!
The orange foam was just about to begin :)

Glitter time! This bath bath certainly have saved the best until last! The centre of the ball bomb is gold glitter heaven! The glitter is released into the bath water, gorgeous is not the word! Although it looks stunning, the other negative point it that rather alot of glitter is left at the bottom of the bath once all the water has gone. Personally, this doesn't bother me as I just use more water to shower it down the plug but I have a feeling it will annoy some of you out there. The glitter is very fine so it doesn't scratch your skin whether you're in the bath or have just got out. once you are out of the bath, the glitter does remain on your skin but it is that fine that it isnt that noticable. So don't worry, you wont look like a disco ball!

Ladies, treat yourself to a Dragon's Egg! This blogpost isn't giving this bath bomb any justice so you really should try it for yourself, it's beyond amazing and will only set you back £3.15. Do it, I know you want to ;)

Love, Jess ♥
